Rishi Sunak cuts the ribbon on new climbing frame at Croft

Rishi Sunak MP and Chancellor for the Exchequer, cuts the ribbon on the new climbing frame in Early Years. Mr Sunak performed the official opening of the new climbing frame installed in our Early Years outdoor area. Some of our children had the opportunity to perform for him and ask questions. Northern Echo Publishes Details of the Success of 4 School Leadership Model

Back in September 2019, we launched a pilot scheme to test a pioneering leadership model where four of our member schools: Barton, Ravensworth, East Cowton, and Kirkby Fleetham were placed under the leadership of one Executive Headteacher. Due to the success of the pilot, the Dales Trust Board are delighted to announce that the four-school model will become a permanent arrangement from January 2021. Anti-bullying week and odd sock day

East Cowton recently participated in anti-bullying week and started the week off wearing odd socks to celebrate diversity and difference. We thought about what the world would be like if we were all the same and decided that would be very boring! We also talked about what bullying is and how we all need to take responsibility for looking after each other and making sure bullying does not happen at our schools.

Bonfire Lunch at East Cowton

It was a shame for the children that they were not able to celebrate bonfire night in the same way as they usually do, but our cooks served them up a bonfire lunch with delicious burgers, wedges , salad and bonfire buns – what a treat!

Tree Planting

This afternoon, year 6 at Trinity Academy Eppleby Forcett and Middleton Tyas headed out to the school fields to plant some trees; crab apples to be precise. We chose to plant them in ‘The Meadow’ at the back of the football field. Here are some pictures of a great afternoon.

General Knowledge Quiz Team

The fantastic General Knowledge Quiz Team from Trinity Academy Richmond went to Brompton-on-Swale School to take part in the Area Heats. Having to answer questions including: history, geography and maths. They showed some fantastic displays of teamwork answering some very tricky questions. Well done Team Trinity.

The governors of St Francis Church of England Primary School are currently consulting on a proposal for the school to become an Academy and join Dales Academies Trust on the 1st August 2019. All Saints Academy has received the highest grading of excellent

We are thrilled to share the outcome of our recent SIAMS (Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools). The inspection took place on Monday 25th and Tuesday 26th of March. The academy has received the highest grading of excellent, including excellent for Collective Worship and the effectiveness of Religious Education.
