SEN
Great Smeaton welcomes all children. Inclusivity threads throughout all aspects of school life. We are fully committed to supporting all children, including those with SEND, and welcome applications from any families who may be looking for a ‘fresh start’ or a nurturing new school. Through adaptive teaching, small class sizes, increased outdoor education, high quality SEND provision and ambition for all, we meet the needs of all pupils, including those with additional needs.
Our SENDco is Mrs McManus. She has experience of leading SEND across four other Trust primaries and is committed to develop relationships with families to ensure our provision meets the needs of every pupil.
If you would like to discuss your child’s needs, please contact school on admin@greatsmeaton.dalesmat.org to arrange a discussion with Mrs McManus or our headteacher, Mrs Wallace.
