Admissions

Being a small school, we have spaces available in all year groups across school.

There is no specific catchment area for Great Smeaton and we welcome applications from all families.

Great Smeaton Primary School is part of the Dales Academies Trust and is located in North Yorkshire. Applications for the admission of all children are dealt with by the Local Authority. The school’s maximum admission limit is 12 per year group.

Transition events will be organised in the summer term to ensure children are settled when they join school full time in September. For children with Special Educational Needs or disabilities, a programme of induction will be tailored to suit the needs of each individual child.
